Billing for Toll Free?

It seems they are deducting for toll free calls?

I thought that is no longer allowed?

    It must be related to VOIP routing. They probably have no control over it.

    More likely, however, is that the Americans have no idea what our toll-free numbers are.

    The 0800/080i thing is for mobile operators only. Practically every VOIP provider I know still charge for 08 numbers, and freedompop are a VOIP service, not a true mobile service, so these charges are probably going to stay.

    Unfortunate but true.

    most every cellphone company in the USA also charge for toll free numbers. they deduct minutes.
