    The trial was never cancelled before the renewal which is why you were charged. However, I have gone ahead and downgraded your plan so that you are not further charged.

    That's what I like about Freedompop is despite the fact it was, allegedly, the customer error they're willing to refund the charge as a gesture of goodwill. I've had experienced other companies where they would only reply to me saying look at the T&C and tough cheese mister, your mistake.
