I took out Free trial for my OAP dad and unticked auto topup and he is still being charged
Can you please refund my father as he took out the free trial, but could not get on with the network, he has just been charged, I made sure we un-ticked auto top-up, I assumed it would revert back to free.
You did it wrong, you have to unsubscribe from the premium services too.

John is right you need to downgrade your current plan to the free one, just check the FAQ guide thread which explains how to do that and how to contact support team either by email, phone or raise a ticket. Auto-topup is for when you used up your data allowance and don't want to have your account suspended until your billing cycles refreshes.
