I have downgraded my plan to basic and cannot make calls as it says my service does not allow this is this normal as thought I had 200 minutes plus texts etc
If you have used up your data allowance (200 Mbytes on basic plus any extra earned) then calls and texts are also on hold even if you have minutes or texts remaining from those 200/200 quotas.
I have not used any data calls or texts as only downgraded yesterday and have not been able to use phone and during my trial period did not use 100mbytes of data in the month

have you checked the website (login to the site) and see what the allowances are telling you, since if you've not used any, you might have to change the billing info and it might work in 20 minutes during a working day
