Getting charged £3.99 when it should be zero ...

I have the 'free' account, I do not use this SIM and it is marked as 'Inactive', but I have been charged £3.99 for three months, TOTAL £11.97. I have emailed and tried to telephone - both without sucess. I need to cancel this service immediately and get a refund. Will you please tell me how to do this.

    I have successfully cancelled my account using the automated telephone service (hopefully). I would now like to persue a refund of £11.97. How do I do this please?

    Thank you for answering. My wife also had an account but has never requested, received or used a SIM. I presume you will want me to login using her details and make a separate question on this forum.
