Suspecious Data Usage

I don't know if any other users have experienced the same. I own two MiFi hotspots, and almost in every billing cycle, I notice a burst in data usage during the hours that no devices are connected to the hotspots. The free 500MB gets used up quickly because of that...

Have tried reaching out to FreedomPop support many times, but couldn't reach anyone after spent more than an hour waiting on the line. Would appreciate if anyone can help me with this, or at least show me how to diagnose this data issue, see what device type and MAC addresses are connected to my hotspot during that time. Why there's a data burst... very suspicious.
