Unable to Downgrade my Voice Plan

Hi I am unable to downgrade my voice plan which is currently unlimited text and talk, when ever i try to downgrade i get weird error message saying, "We've experienced a problem changing your Data Plan due to a billing error. Please update your payment method on the Billing Settings page, and try again."

Not sure, tried several times... can some one from support team fix it for me.. as i have only 2 days left in billing cycle.
