question about activating new phone

im going to buy a lg g2 and so im wondering how i activate it. i currently have a phone on freedompop so im wondering if theres a way to deactivate my first phone and activate the new one on the same account? also, do i get to keep the extra 500mb of data i earned through adding friends or do i have to earn them again after i activate the new phone?

    1. First activate your new phone on a new account, paying the activation fee if it is BYOD. If the new phone is FreedomPop branded, then there is no activation fee.
    2. Contact customer service or wait in this thread for the forum admins to respond. http://forums.freedompop.com/discussion/8911/customer-service-phone-numbers
    3. Confirm the new phone works on the old account.
    4. Contact customer service again to deactivate the new account (old phone on it now) and (if BYOD) process a refund for the new account. Do this within the first thirty days the new account is open.

    It seems you have to pay the activation fee if you want to upgrade your phone even if you have already paid the activation fee for your old device before.
