Help with deactivating devices

sensijsensij Posts: 4FreedomPop Newbie
I have two Freedompop Galaxy S3's that I would like to bring to a different carrier (Ting). I have not had success getting the devices to deactivate... even though my local area code numbers have been deactivated or ported and no number shows assigned in my account, the devices themselves appear to remain tied to Freedompop (or Bandwidth.com?) through an area code (577) number.

I am hesistant to post the ESN's publically, but can provide them if needed.

Thanks for your help...

I am having a similar problem. I transferred to StraightTalk but whenever I attempt to make a phone call, a box pops up urging me to activate with FreedomPop. My status still says FreedomPop is my mobile network.
How can I get FreedomPop to release my phone?
