Why are we having so much trouble with this service!!!

Today my wife tried 15 times to change a flight ticket and got disconnected every time even though she was using wifi most of the tries.
When calling without the Wifi connection, the line is braking I can barely understand what she's saying. Most of the times the phone doesn't even ring. We tried reseting and updating but it is just not working. I now want to downgrade so I don't have to pay 20$ disconnection fee but there is no link on the page that allows me to do that.
What can I do?!
I mean I know I will be switching to a regular Sprint service but help me figure this out.
