@Haris Lalic Although Sprint have enabled the FM hardware on some of their supported phones, I don't believe that devices on Freedompop's network are enabled yet (at least mine aren't & I've seen no comment from anyone else on the FP forum being able to use FM radio yet :'( ).

Nevertheless, you can download an FM radio app from the link below, if there's not an app already on the Icon (I guess it doesn't hurt to try):

Thanks limey, that worked. FWIW, nextradio is available on Google Play and works on the Icon.

Good to know that the FM hardware looks like it has been enabled on the Hydro! =)

Sadly, it's still disabled/non-functioning on my FP Galaxy Tab 3/LG Optimus F3 (just retested), but perhaps these may be enabled in the future? (hint, hint)

I read on XDA that the Galaxy Tab 3 is missing the antenna for an FM radio and that it's a hardware issue. The LG Optimus F3 doesn't list an FM radio either.

There was some speculation about the Galaxy tab 3 for a while since it does have a chip with FM capabilities, but it looks like Samsung dropped the ball on the American version.

Some devices had FM radios and you used your headphones to enable them, but from what I'm seeing here it doesn't look like the manufacturers put that capability into those two. Considering the Galaxy Tab was not a cheap product when it came out it's disgusting that Samsung didn't put this capability in.

Any word on the LG G5 on the AT&T network or the Note 4 on the Freedompop sim being unlocked for FM radio?
