Need to deactivate device

I need to get my phone deactivated and would prefer not to have to spend a long time calling customer support. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. Thanks.

    @weanut Thanks. I just got off the phone with customer service and they have deactivated the device. I went to swappa to check the ESN and it stills shows the phone as activated. Any idea how long it takes for this information to get updated?

    it shouldn't be more than a few days i believe. i'm double checking on that, will let you know.

    The phone doesn't work. I'm giving it to someone and they requested that I get the phone deactivated.
