Help with MIFI?

jessie2967jessie2967 Posts: 1FreedomPop Newbie
I can't stay connected to the internet using my MIFI device. It goes back and forth between a blinking green light and a solid one. I should have 4G service according to the coverage chart. Additionally, I use a Sprint network cell phone and have 4G service on that at home. I'm conneting a screenshot of the widget display. TYIA

    Green = 3G
    Green flashing = 3G data usage
    Blue = 4G WiMAX
    Blue flashing = 4G WiMAX data usage
    Yellow = No signal
    Red = Error/fault

    You should check the sprint coverage map again and make sure you are in a WiMAX coverage area. Otherwise you'll have to pay for 3G access just to get connected

    There are currently two types of 4G that Sprint and FreedomPop uses. 4G WiMAX* and 4G LTE.

    The mifi 4082 you are using is a 3G/4G WiMAX device. It cannot connect to a 4G LTE signal

    *4G WiMAX is going to be shut down and replaced with 4G LTE on November 6th

    Additionally what is the phone you are using?

    If you are having trouble with the FreedomPop messaging app registering, always try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. If that doesn't work download push notification fixer (no root) from the play store. make sure both intervals are set to 5 minutes and click apply.

    I don't work for FreedomPop
