I got full bars and a green light on my Freedom Stick Bolt with MAC ID: 001 D88 51B AD5 in Midtown Manhattan today. So it must be receiving Wimax signals still. But when attempting to use the internet it bounces me to 'freedompop we've got information to share about my account' . I logged into my account and all is well with my balance and credit card.

    the device isn't able to authenticate the connection, because sprint shut down the authentication server for WiMAX only devices. Dual mode devices such as the overdrive pro can still connect because sprint hasn't figured out how to do so.

    If you are having trouble with the FreedomPop messaging app registering, always try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. If that doesn't work download push notification fixer (no root) from the play store. make sure both intervals are set to 5 minutes and click apply.
