MiFi 4082 No Longer Connects To Internet; Light Stays Amber

My MiFi 4082 no longer connects to the Internet, even in places that have high coverage (suburbs of Chicago) and places where the device has connected before. When turned on, the light goes to amber and never goes to blue. Can this be fixed, possibly with an account reset?

    With the WiMAX shutdown the mifi 4082 will only connect to the 3G network now, you'll need to migrate to a paid plan or a newer LTE hotspot. Of course you need to check your coverage at http://coverage.sprint.com

    If you are having trouble with the FreedomPop messaging app registering, always try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. If that doesn't work download push notification fixer (no root) from the play store. make sure both intervals are set to 5 minutes and click apply.
