Why do I get a message saying, "email address already in use", when trying to activate my new phone?
A few months ago I received a defective Freedompop phone which I returned for a new one. After being ignored by Freedompop for several months, as I begged and pleaded for either a refund or a new phone, I finally received a new phone. Now, when I try to activate it, I get a message saying the email address is already in use. It's the same email address associated with my Freedompop account.
