You going to get allot of different answers on the best hotspot. I live on the South Side of Seattle and I have used the Netgear Mingle, Mifi 500, 341U and a few other older Wimax devices. My Favorite is the Netgear Mingle>>

    MiFi 4082 - $1, Netgear 341U USB Modem - $19.99, Netgear Mingle $29.99, Netgear Gateway 6100D $29.99

I agree with @njfulwider5! Except the link he posted is scheduled to go down in a few hours, so if it doesn't work for you here's the same $29.99 Mingle offer here - http://fpfc.tech/mingle

This is the cheapest way to get the device. Without the special the price is 149.99. So Freedompop attaches a Trail plan to the special. The trial plan is 2gb of data on the device and if you decide to keep it, after 1 month the cost is 19.99.

You can cancel at anytime. The lowest Plan you can have with this device is the Free 500 MB 4G Only Plan.

With Freedompop you can cancel, upgrade or downgrade at anytime. I normally keep my hotspot on Free and when we decide to go camping or out on Vacation, I purchase a bigger plan till I get back. Than I downgrade again.

Here is another link That will give you a bonus 500mbs>>>

    Hope this helps

I am so glad you are on here. I have a family of 4. I just grabbed the mingle hotspot and somehow also purchased a phone...I'm very unclear how all this works exactly. The goal is to have hotspot, obviously, but also I need to make sure that this will support my son's PS2 games? streaming music, etc....can you help guide me a bit?

    Mingle: 29.99 one time

I have signed up for the 2gb for 19.99 a month (my device arrived today-going to open it after work). First month is free.

I also purchased these services: FreedomPop Unlimited Nationwide Wifi; 4.99/month and FreedomPop Premier
    $9.99 / mo

    Device: Moto E 2nd Gen 4G TD-LTE,
    Talk: Unlimited Minutes
    Text: Unlimited Messages
    Data Limit: 1 GB
    Price: $19.99/Month

have I done the right thing? Or is this too much? I bought the phone for my son....I'm not a techie person I feel like I over did it? I don't know. Help please.
