"Unable to send message after multiple attempts"

I am on the $80 annual plan, and just added MMS for an additional $19.99/yr yesterday morning. I have restarted my phone, and had access to wifi as well as two bars from the tower. I am using "Messages", not "Messaging" as my HTC Desire 510 manual indicates. I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not, but my number had just finished porting over a couple of days ago.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or what I need to do to get this service to work that I just paid for?
