Monthly charge?

I used the premium free trial for about 25 days and downgraded to Free basic 200 before the free trail expired, but I have found that $7.99 is charged to my account. What is the charge for?? Isn't it the Free basic 200 free??

    I had this happen to me when I first started with FreedomPop. Then I found out that FreedomPop not only has Data Plans, they also have Value added services. It is possible that you have a Value added service enabled still. A great way to see where the charge came from. Open up your account online and click this link>>

    Or Open your FreedomPop account. On the Tabs at the top you will see “HOME--MY ACCOUNT--BILLING--EARN FREE--SHARE DATA--SUPPORT" Click "BILLING", and you will see a drop down Menu. Click “BILLING OVERVIEW".

    This takes you to the Billing Overview page and if you look at the box that says" Recent Transactions". It should show you if this was a Value added service. I also created a post to downgrade to the 100% Free Plan; this is the Value added service part of that post. This should help you downgrade if you find you have one>>

    Or Open your FreedomPop account. On the Tabs at the top you will see “HOME--MY ACCOUNT--BILLING--EARN FREE--SHARE DATA--SUPPORT" Click "MY ACCOUNT", and you will see a drop down Menu. Click "SERVICES".

    This will have the service plans, which sometimes get missed when anybody downgrades to Free. The Top boxes will be the service plans you are subscribed to. Start with the top box and work your way down (depending on how many service plans you have). Over to the right of each service plan is the words with an arrow "View Details->". Click view details and it takes you to a new page. On this page, under the box with the Service plan details are the words "To deactivate this service, click here". Click the link A pop up will show, click>> (Click here to confirm cancellation of your service). You will get another confirmation after it is complete.

    This is something Customer Support gave to the Experts yesterday to help other members downgrade service plans. Great little tutorial.

    I tried to make sure I included all details when downgrading, even the instructions on how to turn off Auto Top-Up. Please let me know if you have any issues downgrading this Service plan.
