Dell Wireless 5804 Activation

Elliot HuffmanElliot Huffman Posts: 18FreedomPop Newbie
I am interested in finding the process for activating a Dell Wireless 5804 (Windows laptop WWAN card).

The laptop is a Dell Latitude e5470. It accepts a SIM card for WWAN authentication.

I own a Freedompop SIM card. If that helps.

Would would be the general process to try to get this working (I understand if it does not.)

Thanks!

As long as your WWAN card isn't locked to another carrier it should work.
Depending on which Windows version you have, Windows should handle setting the APN and roaming required for setup.
If not, you will need connection software compatible with your WWAN card.

I've set up several Global sims in a couple of Panasonic CF-30's Win7 & Vista and in some Armor X7 Win7 tablets

I hate calling FP. Reps seem to only be interested in selling you something rather than solving an issue. They will lie to achieve that.
Elliot Labs, how did that go? Interested in the using my Dell's WWAN card. Can't get an answer.

I ordered the wrong stinking card.
I just found out that the Wwan card is crazy expensive for the one that works with my computer..
I do not think I am going to splurge over 200 dollars just for mobile internet with my laptop...
    Holey moley.
    Sorry for the delay.
