New user: billing/service cycle question

I just received my new hot spot yesterday (1/17/17) and still trying to figure out all the setting stuff. One thing that's really confusing to me is the service cycle. Sprint's hit spot page is saying that I've 13 days left and the plan begins on 1/31/17. The freedompop page is saying that I've 25 days left. Can someone from freedompop clarify this? I want to test out the service fully but do not want to accidentally go over my billing/service cycle.

PS. I placed the order on 1/10/17 and the item is shipped out on 1/12/17.

    Please go by what the account tells you, I would suggest checking by logging into your account on a browser :) Just wanted to inform you that your billing date is on the 13th of every month! To avoid get charged $15 for going over your allotted data, I would suggest disabling top ups. You can read more about this through the links below.

    So what you are telling me is that both service cycle and billing cycle last day is the 12th and the new month start on the 13th where I'll be charged on the plan I'm on?
    The next question is how long would it take to downgrade the plan and disable top up?

    Correct, the day that you will be charged on is the 13th.

    You can downgrade and disable top ups at any time, and it does not take long. If you wish to downgrade we can do that for you, but if you want to disable top ups you will need to do that through your account.

    I just downgraded to free service. However, the main page still shows that I have 10.49Gb and 4 days left in the plan. Does this mean that I still have the 10Gb promo to use until this period is over?
