not able to use the phone

zzzjiezzzjie Posts: 14FreedomPop Newbie
Hi, I am using the free basic plan.
The quality of the phone service is terrible. I no longer want to use it to make phone call. The problems I noticed are following:
(1) when I place the phone call, it went directly back to the home page, as if nothing had happened. If you are luck, after 5-10 seconds, it will bring up the calling page. Then it will stay there for a while. If you are lucky, you will be connected, otherwise, nothing will happen,

What can I do to improve the quality?

thanks

    Hello,

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue, can you please confirm if you have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app?

no I did not. Do I need to uninstall Freedompop messaging, and then reinstall it?
    Thanks
  • Yes please attempt to do that but if it fails to work you can also attempt the steps below.

Sometimes things can go haywire within the app. To restart it go to your home screen and click the button that displays all your applications. Select Settings. Look for Applications or Application Manager, and from there select the FreedomPop Messaging App. Click Force Stop and when that's done, Clear Data.

Now go back to the home screen, find the FreedomPop Application and log in to it once again. From here, make a call to see if the problem has been resolved.
