Activated free data for tablet and it said they would send me a device?

I bought a tablet on groupon and went into my account today to activate it. I put in the ID number and my credit card info. When I got to the confirmation screen, it said that they would be sending me a device (I was unclear whether it was a tablet or phone).

I already have a tablet, so do not need another. Is this normal? I just want to make sure that I am not being charged and sent something that don't need.

    How did that happen... am I understanding that you bought a FreedomPop phone or tablet from Groupon?
