My original T-Mobile "Galaxy S" doesn't recognize the 3in1 SIM. Phone tells me to insert a SIM
Phone is unlocked with factory settings.
This is phone was the first Galaxy S

    The metal contacts area on the SIM is noticeably smaller than that of the T-mobile SIM but perhaps some points of contact were unused.

    If I cannot get the free service to work first then there will be no incentive for me to buy a paid plan.

    Your phone must have Android 4.4 and up to work. Check the faq's as I believe that is correct.

    Looks like it has Android 2.2 but does that explain why the SIM isn't recognized?
