does byod apply to routers?

So I finally figured out that my burst hub can't connect because I only have 3g coverage in my area. Does anyone know if you can do the byod with your own device like you can with the phones? Thanks!

@emilan25‌ I believe you cannot, unless its a FreedomPop device. You might double check with Taylor or other FreedomPop Pros though.

If you bought a hub burst that is SPECIFICALLY branded as a FreedomPop device (has a logo on it), please go to freedompop.com/activate to activate it on FP. If it is a Sprint 3G device, sell it off eBay and use the money to get a FP hotspot device. What you should do in my opinion is to BYOD a Sprint iPhone 5 or buy an FP one, get the $20 unlimited plan for the iPhone, and tether to your computer for unlimited cheap data. Just my 2 cents.
