No connection

I recently received my Samsung Galaxy S3 and I only recieve 1-3 bars on the connection but I do not get connection I can not make phone calls or browse the internet. According to the Freedompop map I do get service. Or am I wrong?

    @Jose Perez Check sprint.com/coverage and sensorly.com. Freedompopuses sprint's network. Be aware though that sprint's map is optimistic as well. Another thing to note is that android only shows signal strength for voice coverage. Since Freedompop uses voip (goes over data) this means that the signal strength is irrelevant. Do you get an error or does it just fail to connect? Have you tried an msl reset

    To add to what @hankjrod‌ said, you might also want to update your PRL and Profile on a WiFi connection to see if that helps. You also want to try an MSL reset if you need any help.

    Lastly, you might want to try something like a Wilson Cradle or a Femtocell like the Sprint Airave to see if that boosts coverage where you are.
