Wrong MSL for HTC Evo 3D Activation?

After signing up on the BYOD page, it said my Evo 3D was compatible. Then I got an email with instructions to reset my device. I dial ##786#, click menu, click reset, get prompted for password, but when I enter the MSL given to me in the email, my phone says it is the wrong password. Do I need a different password, or is the MSL just not working?

    Using 000000 totally worked and it reset my phone! Thank you Edwin.
    But after the restart it went into hands free activation and started PRL Update. After a few minutes it could not update and gave error code 1012. In the about phone, the phone number and username have changed, so that's a good sign, but it still isn't giving me a connection. Is there something else I need to do?

    @br2r‌ Try doing a manual PRL and Profile update by going to Settings->System Updates->Update PRL, then Update Profile. This may fail a few times before it is successful depending on coverage.
