What is considered inactive account?

On their official website it states "Your device may go into a temporary dormant state after 30 days with no reported data usage."
https://support.freedompop.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3506/~/why-is-my-account-dormant?
On the thread below is a conversation between 2 users about dormant accounts and the conclusion is that "For a phone to be active, it needs to make an outgoing call at least once every 30 days, texting is not enough to keep it active."

Why is there conflicting information??
In addition I have read that you lose your number when your account goes inactive.
Is there a grace period for this? Is there a warning? Does this apply to all plans free and paid?

There is a difference between data only sims and voice sims/phones. A data only sim must use data to stay active. The voice sim/phone must make a call.

I don't know for certain, but based on the written terms, it should take only a single call or text either sent or received (I assume via the FreedomPop app) to keep the phone number.

    https://www.freedompop.com/service_plan_terms.htm
    says under "Dormant Status"
Your account may enter into dormant status if there has been no device usage within the last 60 days. Your FreedomPop service will not be fully operational until you resume back to active status. You can exit dormant status though the FreedomPop Messaging App, by logging into your online account, or contacting Support.

The next section on number recycling says:
    Mobile Number Recycling Policy
Your phone number may be removed and recycled from your account if there has been no calls or texts placed/received within the last 60 days.

    Thanks for the clarity.
Can someone from Freedompop confirm these statements?
I like the pricing and features of freedompop's plans, but if both free and paid accounts are subjected to these conditions I will have to rethink about my decision to transfer my whole family phone service to freedompop.
