Device swap request

I tried to move the SIM from my BYO device iPad Mini into my new iPad. At first I got a strange error screen from time-to-time, but it seemed to work. After power cycling I get “No Service”. I tried the self-install certificate process. How do I get this SIM to work in the new iPad? Still getting “no service” unless I move it back to the old iPad.

Can an administrator help me?

    Hello Leonard,

I certainly understand your concern since your new iPad is not recognizing your old SIM card. Our records indicate that the new iPad activation process was not completed because you need a new SIM card on it, the device cannot be activated with the old SIM. Please proceed to activate the new iPad with the original SIM that came with it:

It's a new iPad with a universal SIM slot. There is a built-in SIM plus a slot for a SIM that includes Sprint SIMs. When I enter the IMEI number I get redirected to https://www.freedompop.com/nonsprint and then I get to wait on hold on the phone. There must be an easier way!

Can you please provide us with the MEID number of the new Ipad?

I called support and they made me buy a new SIM on a different email address. That dumped a device off my plan for that email address and I lost all my rollover data. My plan changed from 500MB to 200MB.

Supposedly I can call after activation to get the rollover data reinstated and the plan changed back from 200 to 500. I did provide the IMEI number in the process, but I'm not sure I want to post it here. This was a really klunky process and now I have a Netgear Mingle with no service or plan.
