I purchased a FP Overdrive directly from the FP site weeks ago. While purchasing the item, I got an error message stating that some info. regarding my billing information was incorrect. I was unable to move past this final purchase screen. I later checked my billing on the account, and it listed a purchase for the device. My card was not charged immediately, so I figured that this was some system error. I later created another account and purchased the Mifi 4082. I also contacted FP support to cancel my old account. Weeks after this, I noticed my credit card was charged and that the Overdrive arrived at my door. I didn't know what to do with it, so I decided to gift it to a friend. My friend is unable to activate the device because it is still associated with the account that was cancelled. Should I deactivate my account to allow my friend to use the device? Is there any way I can get this device off of my old cancelled account?
