Hi! in general terms, you can activate two type of device technologies with Freedompop and require for the device to be capable of running Android 4.1 or iOS 8.2+.

You can use CDMA locked to Sprint technology devices and the BYOD program via the activation funnel or if the device is GSM unlocked our LTE sim cards.

    Thanks for the response!

If the iPhone is on the latest iOS12, I am assuming it will work, correct?
Regarding Android 4.1, I am assuming, that is the lowest version required but we can use the latest version of Android 9, correct?

That's correct. To use our services on your device it's necessary to first now if your device is CDMA or GSM. Please click here to get more information on this http://www.androidauthority.com/gsm-vs-cdma-689328/

If your device is CDMA then you can enter your device into our BYOD services https://support.freedompop.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2914/kw/byod.

If it's a GSM device then you can get one of our SIM cards https://forums.freedompop.com/us/discussion/13766/exclusive-daily-deals/p1.
