I was just charged $2.99. I have not used my account for months, and my account was put in lock down. I want a refund, and I want my account completely erased.

    Hello Trevor, we found the charge under the LTE sim account for the email address you use for this forum and it seems it belongs to the FreedomPop Administrative Fee.

    We have implemented administrative fees to ensure we are in accord with all major carriers. These fees are to recover and help defray costs incurred for increasing customer support services, offset higher payment processing fees, and other expenses related to fraudulent usage monitoring on our networks. It is a monthly fee that is non-refundable and cannot be waived.

    As I have said, I have not used this account in months. I want a refund, and to have my account closed permanently. I will not be paying an administrative fee for something I have not used in months.

    We understand you have not used the account in months but that does not exonerate it from the Administrative Fee. The only action that will prevent us to bill you for it is to cancel the account, as you are willing to do now but the account needs to be canceled on your end, as the account holder.
    Unfortunately, even if the account is closed now, the charges will still be non-refundable because they were valid per the terms and conditions agreed upon signup.

    You can cancel online through your account or you can simply do so by calling 1(800) 663-1791. Provided below is an article that can also assist with your request.
