    Hi,

    Have you activated the new device that has IMEI: 358239050888132 on FreedomPop's system yet? If not, you'll need to go through our BYOD process to get it up and running and once that's done there are only a few more steps to get the phone number assigned to the device.

    BYOD Process is taking for new Activation (Which isn't intended as I'm requesting here for Swapping a Device). Please see below for little in-detail explanation of situation:
    1. I already have an Account with Freedompop i.e., (419) 788-8932. (MEID: 089778995802709060 & ICCID: 89011201000304431321)
    2. Sometime ago, I had purchased LG Phone from Freedompop (IMEI: 358239050888132)
    3. Because, my Old Phone (Which is currently Active) is broken, I would like to use purchased LG Phone (refer: 2) using same SIM Card (ICCID: 89011201000304431321)

    Only thing I'm requesting is Swap MEID: 089778995802709060 by IMEI: 358239050888132.

    Kindly assist. Thanks in advance!

    Before we move forward with swapping the devices it's important to k=note that since these are both CDMA devices, the SIM card cannot be simply moved from the old device to the new one. CDMA activated phones each require a different SIm card specific only to each type of phone. What brand and name is the new device?

    When purchasing a SIM card for the LG Nexus 5, you'll need to ask for a SIM card with ID SIMGLW446C. Once you have that, your device should be able to work properly.

    Sorry to say but I can't believe that just swapping a device is such a hectic and long taking process. As I mentioned earlier (kindly refer above):
    1. Information provided is of both old & new device (purchased on freedompop.com) which needs to be swapped under account (419) 788-8932 and email [email protected]
    2. BYOD process is taking to new activation process (which isn't intended)
    3. Although, I tried, and getting following error: "We're experiencing an issue with your provided device ID.
    To complete your activation, please call 800-671-5017."

    Hi,

    In order to be able to move a device and have it replace another it needs to already be active in a FreedomPop account and the only way to do this is to go through the BYOD process. If you are unable to do so and your device is unable to active then it means that the device is either not CDMA compatible or not compatible with our system. When the device doesn't activate but you're sure it's compatible, then you'll need to open a web browser like Chrome or Firefox and try to activate it through a Private or Incognito window. If it still doesn't work this way, you can contact someone from our sales team who will definitely be able to help you to activate the device and you can reach them by dialing (877) 848-2810 or (888) 743-8107 or 888-701-1353.
