How to Disable "Set Messaging As Default" looping message on Android Phone
I use Android Phone. My version of Freedom Pop Messaging App is 24.00.1471.0611. I want to use Messaging App to make outgoing call, but I do not want to use this as a "default" messaging app on my phone. But recently, whenever I open my Freedom Pop Messaging App, this message pops up: "Set Messaging as Default To ensure optimal experience, Android may ask you to confirm FreedomPop is set as default. Select yes if asked on the follow up message". Before the recent update, on the follow-up screen that says "Use messaging instead of messaging as your SMS app?" I was able to click NO and FP Messaging app just opened without any error. But now if I click NO, it goes nto the loop and will not open unless I click on "Yes". Is there any way to bypass the requirement to set FP Messaging as default messaging app?
