Can't get pass the initial Sprint screen

Got my 4082, activated it, no problem, have a strong 4G signal (blue light). Connected to my laptop Wi-Fi network and the message says: Internet access. Got to the Sprint screen and accepted the legal stuff. Still can't get pass the Sprint screen. The instructions that came with the unit seem very simple - but this is turning in to a major pain. Spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with the tech - still no solution. I will probably send the whole thing back.
Please help!!!!!
