Phone does not maintain consistent connection to Hub/Burst

My ZTE Force phone will maintain a consistent connection (as evidenced by the name of the wifi modem name continually indicating "connected") with my NEIGHBOR'S wifi modem (and have a stronger signal) than my own FreedomPop Hub/Burst -- even when standing two feet from my Burst gateway/modem! All other devices in the house work well (iPad and HP laptop) and I have run speed tests on those devices (and all is well). The ZTE Force phone, on the other hand, when I select wifi, and connect to the FP modem, the words under the wifi device name keep flashing between "searching" and "connected" at a high rate of speed.

    what happens when you do a profile and PRL update?

    please attempt one thing at a time....and let us know your progress...if you like me to add all the troubleshooting ideas at once, let me know in a reply

    I like to do it in steps....you can find the problem if there is one-that way

    TO UPDATE THE PROFILE AND PRL

    MAKE SURE YOUR CONNECTED TO WIFI

    PRESS MENU---->>>SYSTEM SETTINGS

    SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF SYSTEM SETTINGS TO SYSTEM UPDATE..

    OPEN AND UPDATE PROFILE FIRST----WILL TAKE A FEW MIN

    GO BACK AND UPDATE THE PRL----ONCE IT IS COMPLETE, PLEASE TRY AGAIN
