Call connection audio quality can't be tested with 909-390-0003?

Just wondering if it's known issue that call connection audio quality can't be tested with the echo test service number that is commonly used to test VoIP, telecom calls: 909-390-0003.

When I tried it with FreedomPop service, it initially connects and hear echo but then it just stops and no echoes come back, while still seemingly being connected in the call. Works fine for my Virgin Mobile service, and for outbound call from Google Hangouts.

Wish it worked with FreedomPop as it would be a good way to test/debug call quality or that the mobile phone device itself working ok.

    Echo suppression probably detects the echo and assumes it is an undesired artifact and suppresses it.

    This is to improve call quality and occurs with some other carriers/services also.
