Intitial Set UP

Just got the MiFi, I know I have no 4G Wimax in my area, so I upgraded to the 3G right away.
My ipad will log in, and shows a connection, but cannot access anything. I have gone to the admin page and done these steps:


But nothing happens when I try to update.

It says to connect the device to a computer via USB and then try it again.

Will that work to update it as long as I am on wifi with THAT computer? There literally is NO 4G Wimax anywhere near me to access. If I cannot get this to work on 3G it is really no use to me.

    @Brian Suttie It's preferable if you're on a Ethernet connection and you update :)

    I tried the update again on a computer that was connected to wi-fi and will not update PRL or Profile. I do not have access to an ethernet connection. What else can I do? I can connect fine with the freedompop password, but no internet
