Getting Franklin U770 working on a Raspberry Pi (Raspbian)

This is for the Rspbian OS on Raspberry Pi ONLY, for any of the other Pi OS's... YMMV.

What you need to do:
Plug it in and wait for it to come up (check dmesg or ifconfig for new device).
Edit /etc/network/interfaces and add the following (assuming ifconfig tells you the new device is usb0).
allow-hotplug usb0
iface usb0 inet dhcp

And that's it... wait a few moments and you should get a 192.168.x.x IP and be able to surf.

What you DO NOT need to do:
Install any of the following programs.

Any tutorial that tells you that you need to do any of this is wasting your time. That might have been true for previous generation cards but is not for this one. It's just plug and go this one.

Just trying to help out others from my experiences. Hope this helps.
