New subscriber: Nexus 5 has no data service

Hello:

I'm unable to connect to the data services on my new Nexus 5. It wants me to "log in" to Sprint. When I attempt to do so, on the phone, I'm taken to the FreedomPop login page. I log in successfully, and I get an error message about "Something is wrong with your account. Please contact customer support."

Could someone assist me please? Thanks!

Hi @Jenson Murnock first let's try downgrading your data plan. To do this go to tinyurl.com/downgrademyfp

I was able to get it working following these steps.

    Google Nexus Devices

Disable Wi-Fi and enable data if needed*
    Go to the phone app
Enter *# *# 72786 #* #* - do not tap the call icon or try to connect
    Enter your MSL
    Confirm the reset
Allow device to restart and go through the activation process

Also check that in preferred network type that its set on LTE (recommended)

    Reboot device

*Some LTE devices can perform a carrier reset over a Wi-Fi connection, but if it doesn't work for you, then go ahead and follow step one before trying your carrier reset again.
