Charged $5 After Turning Off Automatic Top Off

I was turning off the Automatic top off today like I normally do with all my new devices and I noticed it said something about $5 before I had a chance to read it. I was also now charged $5 for doing this, I noticed on my debit card. Anyone know what this charge is? Do they charge you $5 now to turn it off? I know they changed the Terms of Service recently about the Automatic Top Off recently.

    The $5 charge is a minimal buffer in the instance you go over your data with the top up off before Sprint reports it to Freedompop. You think $5 is bad, the other free service charged me $20 for possible overages no question, no option.
